In the case of emergencies, delays, schedule changes or cancellations, School's Out can send you an email or cell phone text message alert.
School's Out was created in 1996 when a group of concerned parents in Frederick, Maryland were unable to find out information regarding early dismissals during Hurricane Fran. Completely out-of-pocket, this group of parents developed School's Out to help inform parents, students and faculty of any early closings, delays and cancellations in their particular Maryland K-12 school districts.
