AUGUST Playgroup Schedule
Aug. 3rd, 9:30am - Meet us at Laurel Lakes to walk or 10:00 if you just want play. Don't forget a picnic lunch!
Aug. 10th, 9:15am - We will be walking at the Airport Park. Come at 10:00 if you just want to meet for play time.
Aug. 17th, 10:00 - Lets get together at Hannond Park. 0700 Glen Hannah Drive, Laurel MD.
Aug. 24th, 10:00am - Going to Clark Elioak Farm in Ellicott City. It is a petting farm with hay-rides and pony-rides.
The cost is $5 per person over 2yrs, $2 for the hay-ride & $2 for the pony ride. It's not too late to sign up for the reading program and the kids get lots of free stuff! Bring a lunch for after.
Aug 31st, 9:15am - Walking Lake Elkhorn or meet at 10:00 to play. Bring a picnic lunch.

QUICK CARAMEL CORN
You will need:
1 - cup brown sugar
1/4 - cup white corn syrup
1 - stick margarine
1/4 - tspn salt
1/2 - tablespoon baking sodat
4 - quarts popped popcorn
1 - brown paper bag
What to do: Combine brown sugar, white corn syrup, margarine & salt and microwave on high for 5-6 min. Add baking soda to mix and pour over the popcorn in a brown paper bag. Close bag and mix well. Microwave 1 min., shake bag and heat one minute more. Let it cool before serving, you can shape the popcorn into balls or whatever shape before it cools completely, then serve.
